Enter the world of digital astronomy! Through the Museum’s partnership with the Smithsonian Institution we are training a select few how to operate through the Internet the MicroObservatory robotic telescopes sited at Smithsonian observatories in Arizona and Massachusetts.
Learn how to download and process images that you have instructed the robotic telescopes to capture. Your homework will be to share your best images with Tellus, which we will select to exhibit in the museum. Your own images that you have taken and processed will be on display at Tellus.
This workshop is limited to only 60 participants.

Children must be accompanied by a paying adult. Astronomy workshops will happen rain or shine. If the weather is inclement, the observatory will be limited to a tour only.
