“Super Science” Adventure and STEM/Nova “Out of this World” Module

Saturday, October 5, 2019

10 AM to 12:30 PM
(check-in begins at 9:30)

Registration for this program closes at noon on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 or when the program reaches maximum capacity.

Scouts can complete the Bear “Super Science” adventure and the “Out of This World” STEM module during one visit at Tellus Science Museum! This program includes investigations in the lab on static, buoyancy, and color, while a visit to the Collins Family My Big Backyard gallery gives the opportunity for hands-on experiences with heat and light. To fulfill the “Out of This World” requirements, Scouts will gather in the Tellus planetarium to watch A Trip Through Space, visit space exhibits in the Science in Motion Gallery, with a follow up lab experience on constellation identification.

This 2.5 hour program will consist of 5 rotations 30 minutes each.
