Join former NASA engineer George Muse for a brief history of the beginning of modern-day large rockets. Learn how a small Alabama town became the forefront of this countries design, development, and manufacturing of missile programs which culminated in the Saturn V moon rocket, how Huntsville helped to win the race to the Moon with the Soviet Union, and more!
The Lunch + Learn lecture begins at 12:15 PM. No outside food is allowed but you are welcome to buy lunch in the Café and bring it into the lecture, or just come hear the lecture. All Lunch + Learns are FREE for members and included in regular admission for non-members. Presentations are recommended for ages 8 and up, unless otherwise indicated.
