Take a journey into the tides with Dr. Heather Koopman, Dean and Professor of the College of Science and Mathematics at Kennesaw State University. Uncover the unique habitat of the Bay of Fundy and the role it plays in supporting the complex food chain of ocean life. Learn about Dr. Koopman’s work with the lobster fishery – including lobster biology, the changing trends of reproduction and egg production, and how fishermen are a vital part of monitoring changes in the ecosystem.

The Lunch + Learn lecture begins at 12:15 PM. No outside food is allowed but you are welcome to buy lunch in the Café and bring it into the lecture, or just come hear the lecture. All Lunch + Learns are FREE for members and included in regular admission for non-members. Presentations are recommended for ages 8 and up, unless otherwise indicated.
