LECTURE: Southwest Georgia was a seacoast 75 to 85 Million years ago, with habitats including salt marshes, estuaries, and sheltered lagoons behind barrier islands, sea beaches, and marine bays. Dr. David Schwimmer, paleontologist and professor at Columbus State University, will discuss what the fossil record tells us about the inhabitants at that time and their behaviors.
