While at Tellus, scouts will tour the night sky in the planetarium and learn about the major constellations of each season, like Orion, Big Dipper, Polaris, and Cassiopeia. Scouts will learn how to make and use star wheels, make a model solar system, and investigate Moon phases. Other activities will include learning how to use a telescope and viewing the Moon, the Sun, and sunspots (weather permitting).
