FROM ATLANTA
- Take I-75 North to exit 293
- Turn left at the bottom of the exit
- Travel less than a half a mile to the traffic light
- Turn left onto Tellus Drive
- Tellus Drive terminates in the museum parking lot
FROM CHATTANOOGA
- Take I-75 South to exit 293
- Turn right at the bottom of the exit
- Immediately merge over to the left turn lane at the traffic light
- Turn left onto Tellus Drive
- Tellus Drive terminates in the museum parking lot
FROM ROME
- Take US 411 to Cartersville
- Take the Cartersville/Atlanta exit (when US 411 merges with US 41)
- Drive on US 41 for 3.2 miles
- Take the Hwy 411/Atlanta/I-75 exit on to US 411.
Continue on US 411 (North Tennessee Street) for 3.3 miles. - Turn right just past Waffle House at the traffic light onto Tellus Drive
- Tellus Drive terminates in the museum parking lot
FROM POLK, PAULDING, HARALSON & CARROLL COUNTIES
- Take either Hwy 278 to Hwy 113, or Hwy 61, toward Cartersville. Both will become Main St. west of Cartersville
- Stay on Main St. and go to I-75
- Take I-75 North to exit 293
- Turn left at the bottom of the exit
- Travel less than a half a mile to the traffic light
- Turn left onto Tellus Drive
- Tellus Drive terminates in the museum parking lot
To avoid traveling on I-75:
- On Main Street take a left onto Tennessee Street. Follow Tennessee Street north for about 5.5 miles.
- Turn right just past Waffle House at the traffic light onto Tellus Drive
- Tellus Drive terminates in the museum parking lot.
FROM CHEROKEE COUNTY OR HIGHWAY 20
- Travel Highway 20 West to I-75
- Take I-75 North to exit 293
- Turn left at the bottom of the exit
- Travel less than a half a mile to the traffic light
- Turn left onto Tellus Drive
- Tellus Drive terminates in the museum parking lot
FROM HIGHWAY 41/MARIETTA AREA
- Go north, past Allatoona Lake and past Cartersville city limits.
- Take the Hwy 411 North exit just past the hospital.
- At the bottom of the ramp take a left.
- Merge to the right (Highway 411 North / North Tennessee Street)
- Turn right just past Waffle House at the traffic light onto Tellus Drive
- Tellus Drive terminates in the museum parking lot.
Note: Some GPS and online map systems have Tellus located on Mineral Museum Drive. The
road is now named Tellus Drive.
