Take a seat, lean back and prepare for an incredible ride in the Bentley Planetarium at Tellus on our state-of-the-art projector. The digital projector will take you through our solar system to the edge of the galaxy and beyond.

Adults and children of all ages will enjoy this unique experience. Bentley Planetarium tickets are $3.50 + tax for the first show with paid museum admission. A second show during a single visit to the museum costs $2 + tax.

One World, One Sky: Big Bird’s Adventure
Big Bird, Elmo and Elmo’s friend from China, Hu Hu Zhu, take viewers on an exciting discovery of the Sun, Moon and stars. They learn about the Big Dipper and the North Star, and take an imaginary trip to the Moon. 

Recommended for ages 3 and up.


Extreme Planets
We know that planets are not unique to our own solar system. In fact, “extrasolar” planets are quite common. From water worlds to molten landscapes, inhabitable moons to planets with multiple suns, these exotic worlds aren’t just science fiction! 

Recommended for ages 5 and up.


The Earth has been (and continues to be) bombarded by objects from the solar system. The objects are left over from the formation of the Sun and subsequent formation of the solar system. Meteoroids, comets and asteroids have all hit our planets. Come and find out what may threaten our planet from space.

Recommended for ages 6 and up.
