Take a seat, lean back and prepare for an incredible ride in the Tellus planetarium on our new state-of-the-art projector. The digital projector will take you through our solar system to the edge of the galaxy and beyond.

Adults and children of all ages will enjoy this unique experience. Planetarium tickets are $3.50 for the first show with paid museum admission. A second show during a single visit to the museum costs $2.

Dreams of flying, model aircraft and a young girl and her grandfather come together in this planetarium show about the science of aeronautics. Learn about famous inventors and aviators of the past and the pioneers who first revealed the 4 forces of flight. See aircraft past, present and future and wonder where flight might take us.

Planetary Thrill Rides V
Hold on to your seats as we ride roller coasters and other gravity-defying rides on other planets! The sound-track has been locally produced and sung by Cartersville’s own Maggie Smith. 
NOT recommended for anyone subject to motion sickness.

Recommended for ages 5 and up.

 

 

Black Holes: The Other Side of Infinity

Narrated by Liam Neeson, this production features visualizations of the current science of black holes to the dome screen. Audiences will see animations of the formation of the early universe, star birth and death, the collision of giant galaxies, and a simulated flight to a super-massive black hole lurking at the center of our own Milky Way Galaxy.

Recommended for ages 6 and up.
