Take a seat, lean back and prepare for an incredible ride in the Bentley Planetarium at Tellus on our state-of-the-art projector. The digital projector will take you through our solar system to the edge of the galaxy and beyond.

Adults and children of all ages will enjoy this unique experience. Bentley Planetarium tickets are $3.50 + tax for the first show with paid museum admission. A second show during a single visit to the museum costs $2 + tax.

One World, One Sky: Big Bird’s Adventure
Big Bird, Elmo and Elmo’s friend from China, Hu Hu Zhu, take viewers on an exciting discovery of the Sun, Moon and stars. They learn about the Big Dipper and the North Star, and take an imaginary trip to the Moon. 

Recommended for ages 3 and up.

Explore the rare types of volcanic eruptions that marshal the energy beneath Earth’s surface. The story of these big blow-outs is a tale of havoc and mayhem. In this unique, immersive experience, narrated by Benedict Cumberbatch, audiences will explore the impact of volcanism on Earth and other worlds in our solar system. 

Recommended for ages 6 and up.


The Best of Planetary Thrill Rides
They’re back again! Hold on to your seats as we head back out into the solar system to ride roller coasters and other gravity-defying rides on other planets while rocking to original music by Cartersville’s own Maggie Smith Band.

Recommended for ages 5 and up. Not recommended for anyone subject to motion sickness.
