Bentley Planetarium

Take a seat, lean back and prepare for an incredible ride in the Bentley Planetarium at Tellus on our state-of-the-art projector. The digital projector will take you through our solar system to the edge of the galaxy and beyond.

Adults and children of all ages will enjoy this unique experience. Bentley Planetarium tickets are $3.50 + tax for the first show with paid museum admission. A second show during a single visit to the museum costs $2 + tax.

Origins of Life

A motivational journey through time and a celebration of life on Earth, this film deals with some of the most profound questions of life science: the origin of life and the human search for life beyond Earth. Starting with the Big Bang, the show deals with prebiotic chemistry in the Universe, the formation of stars, formation of solar systems, and the first life on Earth. Furthermore Origins of Life cover the great extinctions as well as our search for life beyond planet Earth. It features many recent discoveries related to life science, demonstrating to all that if there was ever a time that science made its greatest advances, it would be right now!
