People have always loved to adorn themselves, especially with bright colors. Join Tellus educator Mary Beth Powell as she takes a quick dip into the science of color in textiles, with a focus on natural dyes and their chemistry, history, and application.

Tellus Educators will host special activities for students after each Lunch + Learn.
The Lunch + Learn lecture begins at 12:15 PM. No outside food is allowed but you are welcome to buy lunch in the Café and bring it into the lecture, or just come hear the lecture. All Lunch + Learns are FREE for members and included in regular admission for non-members. Presentations are recommended for ages 8 and up, unless otherwise indicated.
